Bill spent over 50 years managing the strategic direction of the company, as well as purchasing, accounting & finance, human resources, sales, and much more.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University and served as an officer in the United States Army for two years, after which he rejoined the family business.

Active in a number of community and professional organizations, Bill is a past president of both the Texas Food Processors Association and the North Texas Food Sales Association.

Bill is a founding board member and past president of the Tarrant Area Food Bank. He is a recipient of the Pat Mohler Memorial Award, presented by the Food Bank in recognition of his contributions to the organization. Bill has also served in leadership capacities with the Sales & Marketing Executives of Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Marketing Foundation and the Academy of Achievement.

Bill was inducted into the Texas Food Processors Hall of Fame in 1992.

Fun Fact: Bill was an extremely active chili cook for many years. In addition to winning the Oklahoma and Colorado state championships, Bill wrote an introduction for a championship chili cookbook. Bill has also served as a judge for the world championship of all three major chili cook-off organizations.
