Product Description
Mulato is the relative of Ancho Grande. It has, however, evolved to have a deeper flavour with dried cherry, sweet fruity, coffee, raisin, tobacco and liquorice overtones. This makes Mulato perfect with game and sauces. Mulato rates around 5.000 SHU and is found in the famous Mexican Mole Sauce.

Lovely sweet, smokey chillies suitable even for those without much heat tolerance

A favourite of mine when I am cooking for friends with less chilli-heat tolerance! They have a great smokiness coupled with an almost liquorice/molasses like dark-sweetness that works fantastically in so many dishes. Highly recommend, and particularly from Brighton Chilli Shop - great quality stockist and even better prices considering! :)
